Open house set at the ‘old’ Girard high school

GIRARD

Girard City School District will hold an open house at the “old” Girard High School Sunday as students and staff prepare to move into the new school.

Residents and former staff and students are invited to walk through the old building on Ward Avenue one last time between 1 and 4 p.m. The structure is slated for demolition once the new high school opens on Shannon Road in August.
