A 30-year-old Glenellen Avenue man told police he was robbed of his shirt and hat at gunpoint and then forced to ride around with the robber looking for a drug dealer.

The victim told police he was walking in the 3100 block of Mahoning Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Monday when a man and a woman in a silver truck stopped him. He said the woman pulled a gun and demanded his Blue Oyster Cult shirt with God- zilla on it and his Philadelphia Eagles hat, saying her shirt was dirty.

The woman then gave him her shirt, he said, adding that she then ordered him into the truck and made him ride around with her and her companion while they searched for a man named “Mike,” who they said had sold them drugs.

The victim said he jumped out of the truck and ran when the couple spotted the man they thought was the drug dealer.
