CANFIELD CITY

May 17

Domestic violence: Police arrested Stanley A. Pasko, 62, 180 Garwood Drive, on a charge of domestic violence at his home.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Phillip A. Saadey, 18, 8760 Gibson Road, on charges of drug abuse and several charges of possession of drug paraphernalia on Lisbon St. Police found a glass pipe with marijuana residue, two silver grinders with marijuana residue and a digital scale with marijuana residue along with several containers with 5 grams of marijuana in them.

May 18

Drug trafficking: Police arrested Phillip A. Calzo Jr., 18, 1796 Lemont Drive., Poland, in connection with attempting to sell pills at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

May 20

Drug abuse, paraphernalia: Police arrested Dylan Marsh, 255 E. Howard St., Girard, on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Adam Lance,18, 494 Poland Ave., Struthers, on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana at East Main Street and Wynona.

Theft: An Apple iPod was reported taken from a student at Canfield Middle School, 42 Wadsworth St.

May 23

Drug abuse: Police arrested Michael D. Stevenson, 18, of 1905 6th Ave., Beaver Falls, Pa., of drug abuse for possession of marijuana on North Broad Street.

May 17

Assault: A man is a suspect in an assault of his girlfriend at an apartment in the 1000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: A duplex under construction in the 100 block of N. Yorkshire Boulevard had the front door forced open and copper pipes taken.

Counterfeit currency: Two $20 bills were passed at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A PNC Bank Visa card was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of S. Edgehill Ave.

Theft: A man received payment for work on a driveway at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road but did not do it. When he wrote a check to repay the owner’s $275, the check bounced.

Theft: A GPS and wireless headphones were taken from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Starwick Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is accused of making unwanted phone calls to a home in the 3000 block of Bryant Drive.

Theft: A .45 caliber handgun was taken from Austintown Self Storage, 5370 Clarkins Drive.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered in the 1000 block of Westminster Ave.

Theft: A juvenile was caught stealing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave., and was turned over to a guardian.

Assault: A man was attacked by an ex-girlfriend and new boyfriend at Golden Food Market, 4290 New Road.

May 18

Theft: A computer was taken from a home in the 200 block of S. Navarre Ave.

Menacing: A student reported being threatened by a cafeteria worker at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Text messaging threats were received at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Warrant: Phillip Jones, 24, 561 Fourth Ave., Sharon, Pa. was arrested on a warrant alleging misuse of a credit card.

May 19

Theft: An auto was entered and a wallet and money were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Rita Ave.

Fraud: A charge was made to an account at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Burglary: Carpet was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Yolanda Place.

Fraud: Men attempted to pass a check which could not be verified at Farmer’s National Bank, 22 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Recovered property: Pills were recovered at the Fifth Season,1400 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A man’s wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

May 20

Theft: $63 in food was not paid for by four suspects at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Boulevard.

Menacing: A threatening text message want an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: Johnathan Crawford, 20, 6104 Luther Ave., Cleveland was issued a summons in connection with theft of a $300 cell phone at Cellular Connections, 5507 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was reported missing at an unknown location.

Burglary: There was no sign of forced entry in a burglary of a Sony Playstation 3 and several DVDs at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Theft: An iPod was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Drug offense: Police arrested Jason Leeper,32, 458 Brunstetter Road S.W., Warren, on charges of possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia at State Route 46 and W. Webb Road.

Menacing by stalking: A man is a suspect in menacing by stalking in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.

May 21

Breaking and entering: A detached garage was broken into and a go-cart and a bicycle were stolen in the 1000 block of S. Main Street.

Criminal damaging: Four vehicles were scratched at Bob and Chuck Eddy’s, 4850 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 1000 block of S. Main Street.

Auto theft: A 2002 Suzuki was stolen at the Economy Inn,1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: A furnace, copper, backhoe and stump grinder were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Warrant: Emma Felton, 57, 1007 Main Ave., Warren, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a seat-belt violation.

May 22

Drug offense: Mylindsie Allison, 19, 23 Fairview, Campbell, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia for possession of a crack pipe in the 5400 block of Seventy-Six Drive.

Drug offense: John C. Lucci, 23, 624 s. Loveless, Youngstown ,was arrested on a summons for possession of marijuana at Mahoning Ave. and Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Lisa A. Velly, 47, 118 Carnegie ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was dented at a home in the 2000 block of Rosemont Drive.

Disorderly conduct: James Dicket, 50, 154 Idlewood Road, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted telephone calls and text messages were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.

Criminal damaging: A rear window was broken out on a vehicle in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Burglary: A vehicle was taken from the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road and recovered by Rittman, Ohio police department.

May 23

Auto theft: A 2004 Yamaha was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Warrant: Nicole Montecalvo, 30, 5545 East Drive, Niles was arrested on a warrant for prostitution at state Route 46 at County Line Road.

Disorderly conduct: Timothy J. McBride, 21, 237 Trumbull Ave., Warren, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1747 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Numerous gold jewelry pieces were missing from a jewelry box from the bedroom of a home in the 3000 block of Darbyshire Drive.

Theft: A GPS, cell phone charger and eye glasses were stolen from an auto at a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Auto theft: A 1994 GMC truck was stolen from a parking lot in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Auto theft: A 2008 Honda motorcycle was stolen from the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at a home in the 1000 block of County Line Road.

Menacing: A man is a suspect in making verbal threats at a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Theft: A laptop and seven-inch television was taken from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
