Parents announce Franchi-Rogers engagement

Paul and Kathleen Rogers of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their son, Paul R. Rogers, to Jessica L. Franchi, daughter of Jean and Robert Franchi of Newark, N.Y.

The bride-to-be received her bachelor’s degree in music from the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam. She earned her master’s degree in music from Florida State University. She is the choral director at Countryside High School in Clearwater, Fla.

Her fiancé graduated with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Youngstown State University and a master’s in information and communication sciences from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. He is employed as a technology product manager with Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando, Fla., will be the setting for the couple’s wedding planned for April 30, 2011.
