SOBRIETY CHECKPOINT | Mahoning County

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force conducted a sobriety checkpoint on Market Street near Overhill Road in Boardman Township between 10 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday. The results are:

Number of OVI arrests (over the age of 21): 6.

Average blood-alcohol count: 0.136.

Driving under suspension arrests: 6.

No operator’s license citations: 4.

Other miscellaneous citations: 14.

Vehicles seized: 10.

Misdemeanor arrests (failure to appear warrant, failure to comply, drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, underage possession of alcohol, open container, and drug abuse/marijuana): 8.

Felony arrests (one for felony possession of crack cocaine and one for burglary): 2.
