Retired teachers honor deceased members

During a recent meeting of Mahoning County Retired Teachers Association at Antone’s Banquet Center, Boardman, deceased members were eulogized for their service to the community. In their memory a book, “On Hallowed Ground,” by Robert Poole, was presented to Youngstown Public Library to become part of the permanent collection on behalf of the John M. Knapick Memorial. Participating in the ceremonial presentation were, from left, Sally and Edward Winsen and Dorothy Burke, MRTA president.
