One lane of I-80 reopened

Interstate 80 eastbound between state Route 193 and U.S. Route 62 now has one lane open.

The stretch of highway was closed into Monday evening after three people were killed in an accident involving two tractor-trailers and a sport-utility vehicle earlier in the day.

Shirley Gilmore, 66, of Warren, and her two passengers, David Westenfelder, 56, and Wendy Frost, no age available, both of Surprise, Ariz., were pronounced dead at the scene.

It is anticipated that both lanes will be open within two to three hours, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
