Motorcyclist killed in Western Pa. accident

Pennsylvania State Police said an East Palestine man was killed when his motorcycle went off Taggert Road about one mile west of State Route 51 in Darlington Township, Beaver County, Pa.

Police said Clifford Stanley, 61, of North Please Drive, East Palestine, was eastbound at a high rate of speed around 11:55 a.m. Sunday when he failed to negotiate a slight curve. The motorcycle went onto the berm and then into a drainage ditch, rolling over several times.

Stanley was pronounced dead at the scene by a representative of the Beaver County coroner’s office.
