Police memorial set for Thursday in Youngstown

The Mahoning Valley Police Memorial will be Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

The memorial, organized by Fraternal Order of Police for Youngstown Police Department, Mahoning County Sheriff’s office and Youngstown State University Police, is at 10 a.m.

Any departments that wish to participate in the memorial to honor fallen Valley officers should meet at 9 a.m. in parking lot D at the Covelli Centre.

A luncheon will follow the service in the church hall.
