Warren 3rd-Ward Councilman John Brown Jr. (D) will be holding a “Clean Up Blight” (CUB) neighborhood meeting at 5 p.m. Monday on the vacant lot between 1069 and 1091 Atlantic St. N.E. The lot is located directly across from Warren G. Harding High School’s football stadium. The meeting will focus on how to stop the spread of neighborhood blight and explain solutions for residential housing problems. Besides Councilman Brown, representatives of the county commissioners office and Warren’s administration, and Community Development and Health departments will attend. Blood drive Monday

COLUMBIANA

Heartland Christian School Student Council will sponsor a blood drive for the American Red Cross from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday in the school gym, 28 Pittsburgh St. Anyone 16 years or older may participate. Snacks will be served. With each successful drive, the Red Cross will award a $250 scholarship to one of the school’s seniors. Spring concert

Chaney High School String and Vocal departments’ annual spring concert is at 7 p.m. Thursday in the auditorium, Hazelwood Avenue, with conductors Edward Jadej and Daniel A. Gall. Admission is $5.
