Howland area without power

Township residents in the Valacamp Avenue area are without power tonight.

Eric Luktic, supervisor for the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office, said several calls came in this evening reporting power outages in that area.

Luktic said he didn’t know how long the power had been out and how many residents it was effecting.

“There was no incident that we were aware of that would cause it,” he said.

A representative from Ohio Edison was unavailable for comment.
