A school outing to an amusement park in Ohio turned into a thrill ride itself after the driver of the kids’ charter bus drove into a ditch and was charged with drunken driving.

No one was seriously hurt in the Friday morning crash. State troopers in northern Ohio say a few of the 12 students suffered bumps and bruises.

The bus driver was charged with child endangering, driving under the influence and operating a commercial vehicle without a license.

The students from the Columbus suburb of Hilliard were on their way to Cedar Point amusement park.
