Spring convention for GOP women

Ohio Federation of Republican Women conducted a spring conference April 23-24 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. Attendees toured the Fisher House, where military families stay at no charge while a family member is hospitalized. Warren Republican Women’s Club donated $1,000 to the house. Among those in attendance were, from left, Carol Griffiths, president of WRWC; Eddie Wolcott, OFRW N.E. District vice president; Kay Ayres, vice chairman of the Ohio Republican Party; Jean Turner, OFRW president; and Ann Brown, OFRW parliamentarian. The conference speaker was George Sleigh, a 9/11 survivor of the 91st floor of the World Trade Center’s North Tower.
