Sharon Speedway has races on two nights

Sharon Speedway will host the second night of Friday Night Thunder tonight with Mod Lites, Sportsman, Micro Sprints, 2 bbl E-mods and Hobby Stocks slated to race.

Mod Lites, Sportsman, 2 bbl E-mods and Hobby Stocks will also make up feature races from May 7 when severe weather brought racing to an early finish. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with racing to start at 7.

Friday Night Thunder will also be held on June 4 and will continue throughout the season on every other Friday.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for teens and children 8 and under are free. Fans who present a ticket from Friday night at Saturday’s 6 PAK racing will receive $3 off general admission and $5 off a pit pass.

6 PAK Saturday will continue with an Oldies Night. Fans dressed in ’50s attire will receive $3 off the $13 general admission ticket price. Gates will open also an hour earlier at 3 p.m. for a car cruise-in with a D.J. There will also be a hula hoop contest at intermission with a prize for the winner.

Tickets for the Saturday 6 PAK series are $13 for adults ages 14 and older, $5 for teens from ages 9 to 13 and kids 8 and under are free. Family passes, for two adults and up to four students, are available for $32.

Saturday will also be Ashtabula County School Night at Sharon Speedway, with students showing their report card at the track admitted free. 410 Sprint car drivers will be available for autographs.
