Local charity supports First Night

First Night Canfield 2011 was recently presented with a check from the Home Savings Charitable Foundation to support the efforts of organizing this non-alcoholic, New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts.

“First Night Canfield hosts an annual average of 2,500 guests for more than 60 performances over six hours at several venues around Canfield,” said First Night Canfield director Suzanne Heino.

Heino said Home Savings Charitable Foundation has been donating since First Night’s inception and is grateful for the dedication.

“We’re proud to support First Night Canfield because we believe in the importance of providing access to the arts while fostering a sense of community pride,” said Darlene Pavlock, executive director of the Home Savings Charitable Foundation.
