CLUBS

McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner and meeting at 6 p.m. June 7 at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. Election of officers is on the agenda, and the speakers will be Dr. Nazim A. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will present a “Warm Scents of Summer” luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. June 10 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Featured will be Linda Bobic from Scents Galore and music by Valerie Hoffmaster. Speaking on “26 First Dates” will be Jeanette Paradis of Erie, Pa. Dublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Grange Hall in Canfield to observe National Grange Week. The Citizen of the Year will be honored, and past masters and longtime members will be recognized. Refreshments will be served, and guests are welcome.

D.A.R.E., a social group for divorced, widowed or separated people, has planned the following events: Monday and Wednesday, walking at Mill Creek Park from Dr. Shah’s or biking at Kirk Road, both at 6 p.m.; Thursday, meeting at Disciples Christian Church at 7:30 p.m.; May 28, cheap movie at Shops at Boardman Park at 6:30 p.m.; May 29, meet at the church at noon and leave for a tour of the Arms Museum and Butler Institute of American Art; and May 31, picnic at Stitt Pavilion in Mill Creek Park at noon.
