Warrant: Frank G. Emerson. Jr., 34, 3670 Valmarie Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging criminal simulation at New Road and Edinburgh Drive.

Theft: Jewelry and collector bills were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

Theft: A computer was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of N. Roanoke Ave.

Warrant: Yvette M. Piette, 32, 2632 Oakwood, Austintown was arrested on a warrant charging assault at Barkley Avenue and state Route 46.

Fraud: A cash withdrawal was made from an account at a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at Handyman Hardware, 4351 Kirk Road.

Burglary: Several items were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Drug offense: Charges are pending for a juvenile male who also was issued a summons for curfew violation at Orkney and Burkey roads.

May 8

Warrant: Ronnie L. Evans, 55, 111 S. Zone Highway, Martin’s Ferry, Ohio, was arrested on two felony warrants charging attempt to assault a police officer and resisting arrest at Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Danielle Hyland,19, 915 Kirwan Drive, Austintown, was issued a summons for theft at Walmart.

Theft: Two juveniles were apprehended in the theft of $30 worth of makeup at Walmart.

Theft: A clerk was short-changed out of $110 at the B.P. gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Menacing: A neighbor was threatening a resident at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

May 9

Warrant: Jasmin A. Roque, 30, 183 Maywood Ave., Boardman, was arrested on a warrant charging prostitution at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A window was broken at a home in the 300 block of N. Roanoke Avenue.

Drug offense: Tasha L. Johnson, 31, homeless, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a crack pipe, in the 5300 block of Seventy-Six Drive.

Recovered property: Visa, health and library cards and other miscellaneous cards were dropped off at the Austintown police station.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were made by a female at a home in the 4000 block of Woodridge Drive.

Domestic violence: Police arrested a juvenile male on a domestic-violence charge at his home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.

Attempted breaking and entering: An unsuccessful attempt to enter a shed was made at a home in the 6000 block of Country Ridge Drive.

May 10

Warrant: Police arrested Tiffany J. WiIson, 24, of 3080 Crestview Ave. S.E., Warren, in the 5400 block of Seventy-Six Drive on a warrant on charges of failure to appear in court on a drug-abuse charge.

Breaking and entering: A hot-water tank, air-conditioning compressor and copper pipe were stolen from a vacant house in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: 23 unauthorized charges were made to a Huntington Bank debit account at a home in the 60 block of Howard Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Trees were cut down on a wooded lot in the 200 block of Elvira Court.

May 11

Theft: A PlayStation3, controller and games were stolen from an apartment in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.

Possible theft: A 2008 Chevrolet Impala was broken into in the driveway of a home in the 4000 block of Rita Avenue. It was initially undetermined if anything was taken.

Theft: A man is a suspect in a theft at a Phoenix House apartment, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Brittney N. Walter, 22, of 293 Reed Ave., Campbell, at a North Turner Road home on a warrant on charges of telephone harassment.

Assault: A man is a suspect in an assault in the 4000 block of Wilcox Road.

Theft: A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of South Inglewood Avenue. The purse was located and returned.

Theft: An employee stole property from Bob & Chuck Eddy’s, 4850 Mahoning Ave., and pawned it at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning.

Burglary: Jewelry, coins and a television were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Riblett Road.

May 12

Warrant: Police arrested Sarah L. LeFlore, 33, of 55 Dewey Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant on charges of failure to appear in court on traffic charges. The arrest took place at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Jason C. Sudac, 35, of 69 Westminster Ave., in the parking lot of his Austintown apartment on a warrant on charges of failure to appear on a contempt-of-court charge.

Lost or stolen plate: An Ohio temporary tag was reported lost or stolen at Mahoning Avenue and Forest Hill Drive.

Fraud: Fraudulent charges were made to an account at a home in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Jeffrey J. Bradian, 35, of 148 Melbourne Ave., Boardman, in the theft of six video games worth $334 at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Brett Mitchell, 31, of 3996 Aleesa Drive, Warren, on a warrant on charges of felonious assault and theft. He was transferred from the Howland Police Department.

Warrant: Police arrested Harold Haggerty, 42, of 1529 Price Road, Youngstown, at Phoenix House, on a warrant on charges of telecommunications harassment.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Menacing: Threats were made over the Internet at a home in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

May 13

Theft: A Garmin GPS was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 3000 block of Johnson Farm Drive.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Tammy Smith, 47, Kent, in the theft of $24 worth of sandwiches and candy at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A woman was a victim of identity theft at a home in the 5000 block of Baker Street.

Identity theft: A woman from the 4000 block of New Road reported her purse had been stolen in Warren, and since then, her debit card has been used at two gas stations and her mail was stopped and forwarded to a different address.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 200 block of Rome Drive.

Criminal damaging: A marquee sign and window were damaged at Dick Adgate Florist, 4195 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: An attached garage and a vehicle in it were broken into and a computer and camera were taken at a home in the 3000 block of Maple Spring Drive.

Identity theft: Credit cards were opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.

Bench warrant: Police arrested Shawn Hudson, 38, of 987 Compass West Drive, at South Meridian and Bears Den roads on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge.

Theft: Kmart employees reported a possible quick-change scam resulting in a $148 theft.

Menacing: A female was threatened by an ex-boyfriend’s father in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

May 14

Burglary: A laptop computer was taken at Phoenix House.

Burglary: A ring with a blue stone, a savings bond and a war ration book were stolen from an apartment in the 1000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A digital camera was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 5000 block of Pinecrest Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Riblett Road.

Theft: A radar detector and compact disc were taken from an auto parked in the 1000 block of Alanson Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window and tailgate were damaged at a home in the 900 block of Collins Street.

Warrant: Police arrested Lacey Foreman, 27, of 157 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, at Mahoning and Edgehill Drive, on a warrant on charges of misuse of a credit card.

Theft: An unlocked vehicle was broken into in the 3000 block of Riblett Road and a CD player and compact discs were stolen.

Theft: A cell phone, uniform shirts and keys were not returned by an employee at Mr. Rooter, 5411 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were reported at an apartment in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Lost or stolen plate: An Ohio license plate was reported lost or stolen in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Breaking and entering: A vehicle in a garage was entered and a checkbook and phone were taken in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.

May 15

Theft: A wallet was taken in the 5000 block of Seventy-Six Drive.

Drug offense: Shawn Hudson, 38, of 987 Compass West, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and a marijuana pipe in the parking lot of Compass West apartments.

Theft: A 1998 Oldsmobile Alero was entered, and several credit cards were stolen and used at a home in the 90 block of Aldrich Road.

Theft: A camera was taken from a residence in the 6000 block of Abbott Street.

Burglary: Jewelry, money and a flat-screen television were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Riblett Road.

Theft: A boat motor was taken from a driveway in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: Two cellular phones were taken at Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Clothes and makeup were taken at Aldi, 5863 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Police arrested Danyell Group and Jennifer Emler, no ages or addresses given, in the 6000 block of Abbott Street on a burglary charge.

May 16

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Charles H. Sutton, 28, of 110 Rhoda Ave., Youngstown, on a drug offense on charges of possession of suspected marijuana after his arrest at state Route 46 and Seventy-Six Drive.

Resisting arrest: Police charged Andrew McCourt, 23, of 6336 Elk Road, Canfield, with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and criminal trespassing at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Phillip Hardy, 18, of 11 N. Four Mile Run Road, on charges of possession of suspected marijuana after his arrest at the Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Boulevard.

Counterfeit currency: Two counterfeit $20 bills were passed at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Concrete forms were taken at Parella-Pannunzio, 720 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 5000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Eric DeVault, 28, and Amanda DeVault, 23, both of 3921 Timber Lane, at their home on domestic-violence charges.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at a home in the 5000 block of Silica Road.
