Drug abuse/possession: Police arrested Bradly Faulk, 18, 6534 Struthers Road, Poland, on a charge of possession of Klonopin without a prescription at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.
Making false alarms: Police arrested a male juvenile student at Canfield High school for pulling an alarm at the school with no reason.
Identity theft: A resident of the 2000 block of Fairview reported someone else was using his Social Security number.
May 1
Drug abuse: Police arrested Lindsey Ramdin, 24, 35 Willlow Bend, Canfield, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 3
Drug abuse: Police arrested Joseph McCoy, 27, 292 Broad Street, Struthers, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 4
Unauthorized transfer of funds: A Hilltop Boulevard resident reported that someone had acquired her name and Social Security number and was withdrawing money from her bank accounts and also opening various credit-card accounts.
May 5
Drug instruments: Police arrested Samantha Maxwell, 24, 2477 S. Duck Creek, North Jackson, on a charge of possession of drug-abuse instruments.
May 6
Stolen/damaged property: A 5-gallon gas tank and a Ford tailgate were taken from a truck parked at Wertz Towing, 10 E. Main St.
May 9
Warrant: Police arrested Jasmin Roque, 30, of 215 Steel St., Apt. 4, Youngstown, on a warrant out of Canfield on charges of prostitution and for possession of drug paraphernalia — a multicolored pipe with suspected marijuana residue. She was arrested at Midlothian Boulevard and Hillman Street in Youngstown during an Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force sobriety check.
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Sean Dill, 18, of 5130 Hopkins Road, Boardman, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest took place on Main Street.
May 11
Theft: Several pieces of jewelry, valued in the thousands of dollars, were reported stolen at a home on Talsman Drive.
Drug abuse: Police arrested Matthew Lettau, 33, of 97 Kleber Ave., Youngstown, on a charge of drug abuse, accused of possession of more than 5 grams of suspected marijuana police say they found in his vehicle after a traffic stop in the city.
May 13
Receiving stolen property: Police arrested Paul W. Ruzich, 42, of Aurora, Ill., on charges of receiving stolen property (the vehicle he was driving), drug paraphernalia and falsification, and Craig Delrey Martin, 44, of Canton on charges of receiving stolen property. The arrest took place at South Broad and Fair streets.
May 14
Theft: A bottle of weight-loss supplement and 12 packages of batteries were stolen at Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St. Police charged Benjamin Shirley, no age given, 5522 Palmyra Ave., Newton Falls, with theft.
Warrant: Police arrested Nieves Pantoja, 38, of 156 Euclid Road, Butler, Pa., on a warrant.
