Warren man gets prison time after 9th DUI conviction

YOUNGSTOWN — A Warren man will face state prison time after his ninth conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Judge R. Scot Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court this morning ordered Todd W. Tolson, 49, to spend nine months in prison and suspended his driver’s license for life.

Tolson was indicted by a grand jury in February on a felony count of driving under the influence with a repeat-offender specification.

The specification was dropped in exchange for Tolson’s guilty plea to the DUI charge.
