Red & White Ball is black-tie event

Greg Greenwood of Greenwood Chevrolet will be the honorary chairman at the 14th annual Red & White Ball to be hosted by Mahoning Chapter of the American Red Cross Saturday at Antone’s Banquet Centre.

The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. and will include dinner, dance music provided by The Look, a live auction for trips and sporting event packages, and a silent auction for items from around the world donated by local businesses and individuals.

Proceeds from the evening, from corporate sponsorships, program advertisements, ticket sales and the auctions will help people in the community prevent and prepare for disasters.
