A 23-year-old Richland Avenue man was sentenced to six years in prison for the armed robbery of a pizza- delivery man in January.
Gregory DiRenzo, who pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery with a gun specification, drew the sentence Wednesday from Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
The pizza-delivery driver told police a man later identified as DiRenzo robbed him at gunpoint of his wallet containing $20, a cellular phone and money belonging to the pizza company as he made a delivery in the 2800 block of Newbern Circle.
The sentence is non-appealable because it was agreed to by the prosecution and the defense and adopted by the judge.
DiRenzo will be on parole for five years after he leaves prison.
