Rabies shots planned in Trumbull Co.

The Trumbull County Veterinary Medical Association will provide animal- rabies vaccinations from 1 to 3 p.m. June 9 at 12 sites in the county.
Locations will be: dog park at Mosquito Lake Park in Bazetta Township, Bristol Township garage, Brookfield Township Fire Department, Champion Township garage, Cortland city garage, Howland Road Department building, Hubbard Township Administration Building, Kinsman Fire Department, Church Hill Park in Liberty, Newton Falls Township garage, Waddell Park pavilion in Niles and Packard Park’s octagon shelter in Warren.
Trumbull County regulations require that all dogs, cats and ferrets have rabies vaccinations. Adults must present all animals with collars and leashes and cats in carriers. Aggressive, unruly or dangerous animals should not be taken to the clinics.
The first-time vaccination is for one year. Participants must provide a rabies- vaccination certificate to receive the three-year rabies certificate. The cost is $10; only cash will be accepted.
