55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. After the meeting and card games, members will dine out.
AARP 4611 of Youngstown will have an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Avenue. A general meeting and memorial service will be at 11:45. The speaker will be Solomon Hill of Seminary Methodist Church. A $25 deposit will be taken for the June 26 trip to Cleveland with the final payment due on June 5. Coitsville Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at Coitsville Town Hall with Jane Orlo presiding. Devotions will be by Dorothy Churilla. May birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and pizza will be served. There will be card bingo and a 50-50 raffle. Liberty 55-Plus Senior Citizens will have its annual Mother’s Day luncheon meeting Thursday at Frankie’s Main Street Cafe, North Main Street, Hubbard. A social at 12:30 p.m. will precede the luncheon at 1. Kay Herberger will preside, and Betty Fetchet, Jo Hartman and Rosie Sferra will serve as hostesses. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. PERI (Public Employee Retirees Inc.), Chapter 18, will meet at noon June 1 at the ITAM on Meridian Road. U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan will be the guest speaker.
