GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

Garden Gate will meet for an herb program at 7 p.m. at Town and Country. Joann Vlacancich is hostess.

TUESDAY

East will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Olive Garden in Boardman with Stella DeMain as hostess. Afterward there will be a tour of the C&C Ribbon Factory.

Trailwood will have a garage sale with Kitty Heineman, El Dennison and Mary Jackson as hostesses.

WEDNESDAY

Daisy Dozen will tour Lutz Greenhouse at 11 a.m. Terry Anness and Jinx Storey are chairwomen.

THURSDAY

Coitsville will meet at 6 p.m. for the annual civic planting at Coitsville Fire Station.

Mahoning Valley Rose Society will have its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park. Local radio host Phil Steiner will be the guest speaker on the topic, “Caring for Roses.” New members are welcome.

Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
