Franklins to mark 50th anniversary with their family

YOUNGSTOWN

The 50th anniversary of their May 7, 1960, wedding was observed recently by Mr. and Mrs. George Franklin of Youngstown.

The event will be celebrated during a family gathering at a later date.

Their family includes Liz Franklin of Indianapolis, Ind.; Colleen and Scott Calhoun of Erie, Pa.; and Loretta and Nick Uroseva of Austintown; and their grandsons, Nicholas and Mark Uroseva and Sean and Ryan Calhoun.

Mrs. Franklin, the former Betty Pavlick, is a homemaker. She retired in 2001 from First Place Bank, where she was a customer representative.

Mr. Franklin is an Army veteran and retired as a machine fitter from Danieli Wean United on Hendricks Road.

The couple are members of St. Brendan Church and spend their leisure time with family and friends and at their camp in Clarion, Pa.
