Harens observe anniversary at Canfield hall

BOARDMAN
The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Haren of Boardman was celebrated during a party that took place at 1 p.m. May 1 at the Angels for Animals’ Andrews Hall.
Invitations for the event were extended by their children, Kathleen Kerby and Christina Haren, both of Austintown; Susan Witherow and Mitchell Haren, both of Boardman; and Mr. Haren’s sister, Kathy French of Lake Milton.
The Harens have 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The former Donna Moss and Mr. Haren were married April 29, 1960, in the Chapel of Friendly Bells, Youngstown.
Mrs. Haren is a seasonal customer service receptionist with H&R Block and a part-time optician with Vision Center in Boardman. She is a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, The Mother Church, in Boston and of Rock ‘n Country Cloggers.
Mr. Haren retired in 2001 from American Paper Products Co. in Boardman where he was a lead machine adjuster. He is a member of 20/9 Amateur Radio Club and the Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club.
