Arts festival seeks musical performers
YOUNGSTOWN
The Summer Festival of the Arts, July 10-11 on the Youngstown State University campus, is seeking performers. Bands and musicians can apply for one of the eight available slots. Each act will perform gratis one 45-minute set, and can sell CDs. Music must be suitable for an outdoor public event. Applications are available at ysu.edu/sfa. Performers must submit an application, photo, bio and CD of works to be performed by 5 p.m. June 4. For information, contact Lori Factor at lafactor@ysu.edu.
‘Survivor’ finish

It’s down to one good guy against four baddies on “Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.” The remaining contestants will compete in two immunity challenges and three tribal councils before the sole survivor is selected on Sunday’s finale at 8 p.m. “Survivor” host Jeff Probst promised a close finish in the season’s last immunity challenge, which will feature the final four blindfolded.
