Parents announce Wilkins-Butler wedding plans

Larry and Barb Wilkins of Columbus, formerly of McDonald, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Mandy Wilkins, to David Butler, both of Powell.

The prospective groom is a son of Carolyn Butler of Columbus and the late John Butler. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., with a juris doctorate, and is a law partner with Chester, Wilcox and Saxbe in Columbus.

The bride-to-be graduated from Youngstown State University and Mount Carmel College in Columbus with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is an emergency-room nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

The couple has planned a 1 p.m. ceremony for their July wedding at their home in Powell. Invitations will be extended for the wedding and a reception to follow.
