Mother’s Day was celebrated early at Boardman’s Kiddie Daycare and Preschool as mothers were surprised with gifts and musical selections.

The day care hosted its seventh annual Spring Tea May 7. Mothers and grandmothers were invited to the school for a short Mother’s Day program performed by the children.

The children sang songs and recited poems for their mothers and presented them with a card they decorated. Mothers were also given a small plant as a Mother’s Day gift. Fruit, vegetables and punch was provided as refreshments for the event.

The day care and preschool houses kids ranging in age from six weeks to 5 years and all students participated in the Mother’s Day presentations.
