House of Speed sponsors camps

MySpeed Speed Camps focus on a variety of training techniques used to prevent injury, enhance quickness, improve balance and agility, develop speed and explosiveness, and build confidence.

Athletes from all sports and genders ages 8 and up can benefit from the camp.

The camp locations and dates are as follows: Sunday, May 30, Jun. 6, 20, Aug. 1 and 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Salem Community Center Circle Field House. Youngstown State University Summer Camp is an eight-week program with 16 sessions. The camp runs every Tuesday and Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at YSU Stadium turf field from June 8 through July 30.

Cardinal Mooney High School will host “Camp of Champions” June 29 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Register by downloading form online at http://oh-youngstown.houseofspeed.com/camps/ or by calling CMHS for details at 330-788-5007.

There is a weeklong camp at YMCA Camp Fitch in North Springfield, Pa., July 18 through July 24. Register online at http://oh-youngstown.houseofspeed.com/camps/ to be directed to Camp Fitch for registration page. Camp price for whole week is $525.

Glacier Sports Dome in Struthers will host a camp Aug. 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Register online at http://oh-youngstown.houseofspeed.com/camps/. Register by July 31 for $29.99 or register day of event for $39.99.
