Machete-wielding man robs Pa. convenience store


YOUNGWOOD, Pa. (AP) — State police say a man wielding a machete robbed a southwestern Pennsylvania convenience store.

Authorities say the man entered the store in Youngwood, Westmoreland County on Wednesday night and brandished a machete before fleeing in a a car.

Police say it was the third time the convenience store has been robbed in a week.

Youngwood is about 25 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
