Farrell, Pa. men get federal prison terms for narcotics, gun charges
PITTSBURGH — U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer today sentenced two Farrell men each to 180 months in prison for their convictions of violating federal narcotics and firearms laws.
Robert S. Cessar, acting U.S. attorney, said Robert L. Pegues III, 21, of Fruit Street, and Terrance Howard Wells, 23, of Market Street, both will be on five years’ supervised release after serving their prison time.
According to information presented to the court, Pegues and Wells earlier this year conspired to distribute and possessed with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of crack cocaine and were carrying firearms at the time.
The FBI, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Sharon Police Department and the Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Investigation Unit were involved in the prosecution of both men.
