Eagles auxiliary elects officers

GIRARD

Girard Eagles Auxiliary 2172 elected a slate of officers for 2010-11 at its April 20 meeting.

Heading the organization will be Diane Frye, president; Shelly Dikin, vice president; Gale Goist, past president; Amy Mackey, secretary; Carol Kuntz, treasurer; and Karen Dunkle, Shirley Verner and Flo Daniels, trustees.

Also serving will be Norma Clawson, chaplain; Mary Deliskey, inside guard; Cindy Miller, outside guard; Shirley Verner, club mother; and Bobbie Wilson, auditor.

The club will have a ’70s and ’80s get-together at 8 p.m. Saturday at the club. Members are asked to take finger foods favored during that era.

The Girard Eagles Aerie will host a District 8 meeting at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The men will meet in the front bar, and the ladies will meet in the back hall.

The next auxiliary meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, and the men will meet at 7:30 p.m. May 21.
