Campbell Memorial High School’s Destination Imagination team is trying to raise $7,000 — $4,000 to enter the global contest in Knoxville, Tenn., later this month, and $3,000 for travel expenses. A fund-raising dinner is set this weekend.

When: noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Where: St. Lucy’s Banquet Hall, 404 Tenney Ave., Campbell.

Menu: Latino: rice/gandules — meat, of rice/gandules — pastelillo. Salad and bread included.

Price: Adults, $7; children 10 and under, $3. Tickets are being sold in advance and are also available at the door.

The team also is accepting donations from individuals and businesses in the greater Youngstown area as it prepares to represent Ohio at the contest. Make checks payable to Campbell City Schools — DI and mail to Campbell High School, 280 Sixth St., Campbell, OH 44405.
