WEDNESDAY
Otterbein United Methodist Church, 1128 State Road, Champion, will host a chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The menu includes rotisserie chicken, four sides, rolls and desserts. Pricetown Methodist Church, 4640 Pritchard-Ohltown Road, Newton Falls, will serve meals of meatloaf, potatoes, green beans, salad, bread, beverages and dessert from 5 to 6 :30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Carryouts will be available.
THURSDAY
Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have a drive-though homemade chicken dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out). Dinners include stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans and a brownie. The cost is $6. Drive up to the door and a volunteer will bring the meal to your car.
Col. Louis J. Campbell VFW Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $6.50 and will be available only until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve a homemade Chinese dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Thursday. This week’s meal will feature curried chicken and green peppers. Cost is $5. To order in advance call (330) 799-8133 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that day.
VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners with meatballs, salad, bread, and coffee or tea from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Carryouts are $6.25.
FRIDAY
Canfield Lions will sponsor a fish dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include baked or fried haddock, coleslaw, roll, beverage and dessert, with a choice of french fries, macaroni and cheese, haluski, green beans or pirogi. The cost is $10. Takeouts are available.
East High School Alumni Association will have a fish fry from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 57 Saranac Ave. The cost is $8 per dinner. A sandwich is $6.50.
Guilford Lake Ruritan, state Route 172 at Hanna Drive, Guilford Lake, will have a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost for the all-you-can-eat meal of white fish, potato, coleslaw, green beans, bread, beverage and ice cream is $9.
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at (330) 746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will sponsor a carryout fish fry at the club from noon to 5 p.m. A dine-in fish fry will be from 6:30 to 9. Meals include perch, fries, coleslaw and dipping sauce. The cost is $15. A lunch special will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $8. St. Paul the Apostle Church, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The final sale of the season will be May 21.
St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 2100 Colonial, Warren, will host a dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The menu includes barbecue ribs and chicken, fried chicken, fried whiting and catfish, green beans, cabbage, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, fries, corn bread, sweet potato pie and pound cake. Also available will be poor boy sausage sandwiches. Meals are made fresh to order. Orders will be accepted at (330) 369-8501 for pickup or delivery.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at (330) 747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.

Mercer County Civic League will sponsor an Election Day lunch and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wilmington Township Building, 135 Auction Road, New Wilmington, Pa. The menu will feature sloppy Joes, chips and soup for $3 and assorted cookies, cakes and pies. Proceeds will benefit the league’s scholarship fund. Two $750 scholarships will be awarded at a meeting June 15.
UPCOMING
Poland Masonic Lodge 766 will have a takeout fish fry from 3 p.m. until sold out the every third Friday, starting May 21. Meals include coleslaw, a choice of macaroni and cheese or jojo fries, a roll and a brownie. The cost is $9.
