7th Ward group will dedicate sign

YOUNGSTOWN

The 7th Ward Citizens Coalition will dedicate its first neighborhood sign at 9:30 a.m. Saturday as part of an effort to celebrate the communities in that area of the city.

The first sign designates the Buckeye Plat neighborhood and will be located at the intersection of East Midlothian Boulevard and Loveland/Youngstown-Poland roads.

The coalition plans to erect four other neighborhood signs in the 7th Ward, located in the southeastern portion of the city.

Besides the community name, the signs also read: “A Proud 7th Ward Community.”
