2nd suspect arrested in attack on Pittsburgh man at Pa. inn

A second suspect has been arrested in an attack on a Pittsburgh man at the Enon Valley Inn last week.
Fred Blakely Cook Jr., 32, of Enon Valley was taken into custody Monday in Washington County, Ohio. He was in jail awaiting extradition.
Another suspect, Jack Rodney Patterson, 25, of Enon Valley, was in Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond after his arrest Friday.
The victim, Vincent Lapiane, 18, was attacked at 2 a.m. Wednesday at the restaurant on Main Street.
State police in New Castle said Patterson, Cook and another suspect took Lapiane to Patterson’s car, drove him to the woods and tied him to a tree with a bungee cord.
They assaulted him, urinated on him and put a dead deer on him, police said.
He was able to call police after they left. He was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle with injuries to his head, face and wrist.
