Helena O’Hara, a daughter of James and Arthea O’Hara, all of Warren, and Stephen Elliott of Columbus, a son of Larry and Cheryl Elliott of Cortland, and the late Elaine Elliott, were married Sept. 19, 2009, in Howland Community Church.

The Rev. Brian Byrne officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony and a reception followed at Mahoning Country Club in Girard. After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple live in Columbus.

The bride’s strapless ivory satin gown was enhanced with re-embroidered lace and crystal beading and featured spice-colored accents on the bodice and train.

Spice- and ivory-colored gowns were worn by Carole Bahrey, the honor attendant, and bridesmaids Cheryl Steving, Megan Logan, Leanne Lee, Mariann Kromer and Jennifer Rice. Flower girls were Gracie Logan, Samantha Logan and Morgan Hill.

Timothy Rice was best man, and groomsmen were Marc Steving, Jeffrey Elliott, Lance Blair, James Williamson and Randy Caldwell. Ring bearer was Benjamin Logan, and ushers were Jacob Powell and Tyler Elliott.

The bride attended Youngstown State University and is an operations assistant with Tiffany & Co. in Columbus.

The groom is a firefighter with the Columbus Division of Fire.
