Authorities expect a Columbus courthouse to remain shut down for up to two days because of an electrical fire that started in the basement and knocked out power to the 10-story building.
Firefighters freed people trapped in elevators Monday at the Franklin County Common Pleas Court and helped others to evacuate, carrying three people with disabilities down the stairs. No injuries were reported.
