The Aug. 29, 2009, wedding of Emily Patterson and Andrew Salamon, both of Bridgeville, Pa., took place at 3 p.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Church.
The couple exchanged vows in the presence of the Rev. Nicholas Shori and accepted congratulations during a reception that followed at Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown. After a honeymoon in Antigua, they live in Bridgeville.
Alan and Kathleen Patterson of Springfield Township are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Helen Salamon of Pittsburgh and Edward Salamon of Nashville, Tenn.
The bride’s strapless ivory gown featured an eyelet bodice and a lace-trimmed skirt.
Green and ivory gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Julia Martin, and bridesmaids Katherine Schroeder, Ann Pfeufer and Shana Yardas. Flower girl was Madeline Pfeufer.
Scott Poliziani was best man, and groomsmen were Reid Patterson, Jason Borgesi and Brendan Costa.
The bride graduated from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Ind., with bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology and earned a master’s in occupational therapy from Boston University.
The groom, a general sales manager with Clear Channel Communications in Pittsburgh, graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pa.
