Logar-Mackin wedding date is revealed

Dennis and Nadia Logar of McDonald are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Marie Logar, to Michael Kevin Mackin, both of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be graduated from Westminster College before earning her master’s degree in social work at the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed as a social worker for Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in Pittsburgh.

The prospective groom is the son of Thomas and Eileen Mackin of Pittsburgh. Also a graduate of Westminster College, he is the communications manager at the Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.

A Sept. 4 wedding is planned in McDonald.
