Girl, 3, found wandering streets

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police are searching for the parents of a 3-year-old girl who was found wandering the streets in the early morning hours.

Police say officers picked the girl up around 2:15 thus morning in the city’s Hunting Park section. Someone spotted the child and warmed her in a car while waiting for police to arrive.

The child appears to be in good health and is being cared for by the city’s Department of Human Services.
