Firebomb thrown at marijuana business in Montana

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Officials say a firebomb was thrown into a medical marijuana business and “NOT IN OUR TOWN” was spray-painted on the storefront.

Fire crews were called at about 4:30 a.m. today, and the fire at Montana Therapeutics was quickly put out. No one was injured.

The Billings City Council is scheduled to vote Monday night on whether to place a moratorium on medical marijuana businesses. The city has issued more than 80 business licenses for the stores.
