MEADVILLE, Pa.

Police say a school bus with 24 students aboard crashed into a car in northwestern Pennsylvania, but no children are seriously hurt.

The accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday in Meadville, Pa., about 85 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Police say several students were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries; all have been released.

Authorities say the bus was traveling down a street when it rear-ended a car. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital, but her condition hasn’t been released.

The bus was carrying middle school and high school students for three schools in the Meadville area.
