Lorraine Papalia and Dan Sciortino, both of Struthers, exchanged nuptial vows in the presence of Judge R. Scott Krichbaum as they were united in marriage during an early evening ceremony May 8 at Mr. Anthony’s at the Maronite Center.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Las Vegas and will live in Struthers.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Buzzy Papalia of Tampa, Fla., and the groom is a son of Rose Marie Sciortino of Texas and the late Ned Sciortino.

Attendants at the wedding were Nikole Valley and Rhianna Valley, daughters of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Sciortino are employed by the Mahoning County Treasurer. Mr. Sciortino also is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Youngstown State University.
