GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

Hitchcock Woods will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jane J. Evans will be program coordinator, and the hostess, Patty Bryson, will be assisted by the club members. There will be no meetings in June, July or August.

TUESDAY

Ikebana will repeat the April lessons during the 10 a.m. meeting. Pearl Marlos will be the instructor.

Moccasin will have a program on cooking with herbs presented by Town and Country Nursery. Canned foods will be collected for the Emmanuel Center.

New Bedford has planned a road trip. Members are to take an empty pot for planting and meet at 5:30 p.m. at Rachael Byler’s Greenhouse in Pulaski. Pizza will be served.

SATURDAY

Garden Forum will have a “Rock and Roll” flower show at Fellows Riverside Gardens with entry time 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The show will be open to the public from 1 to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Sunflower will meet at 1 p.m. with Juanita McCullough as hostess. The program will be “Preparing the Garden for Planting.
