Flower show planned

Canfield

“Grandma’s Garden” will be the theme of the St. Michael Garden Guild flower show and dinner at 6 p.m. May 19 in the parish hall at St. Michael Church. Entry time for arrangements and horticulture is from 3 to 4:30 p.m. that day. Any member who has not received a flower show booklet can contact Nancy Price. Reservations for the dinner are due by Wednesday. Choices are stuffed steak, $16.50, or chicken marsala, $13.50. Checks should be made payable to St. Michael Garden Guild and sent to Pat Hoyle.

Baby Bargain Boutique at park

BOARDMAN

Boardman Park will have a “Baby Bargain Boutique” from 9 a.m. to noon, May 22 at Masters Pavilion. Admission is free to shoppers. Items to buy or sell include good usable maternity clothes, baby and children’s clothing, toys, books, and furniture for children under the age of five.

To rent a table contact the park office, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Table rental is $15 for Boardman residents and $20 for non-residents for a table inside the pavilion. Outside spaces are $10 for Boardman residents and $15 for non-residents. Outside vendors must provide their own tables. Bands to present concert at school.

BOARDMAN

The fifth and sixth grade bands at Boardman Glenwood Middle School will present a concert at 7 p.m. May 25 at the school auditorium. The students will perform some Disney favorites and rock classics under the direction of Michael Shevock..

Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for students, and senior citizens and children under 10 are free.
