An annual spring flower sale will be sponsored by community volunteers for Northeast Ohio Adoption Services from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through May 25 at Hunter’s Square Plaza, 8700 Market St., two blocks east of state Route 46, on state Route 82.

Chairwomen Gere Weller of Liberty and Janet Weller of Canfield are organizing the sale that will include flats of annuals, perennials, and herbs, and hanging baskets, Mother’s Day gift baskets, potted arrangements, Memorial Day geraniums and other favorites. Advance orders may be placed by calling (330) 856-5582.

Proceeds from the event will provide NOAS with funds to recruit and train urgently needed adoptive families. In Ohio more than 6,000 children, mostly school-aged, are waiting for the commitment, security and life with a permanent, loving family.

Since 1978 NOAS has developed families for more than 1,200 children. No fee is charged those adopting the children. For an information packet on the service, those considering adoption may call (330) 856-5582, ext, 126 or visit www.noas.com.
