Boardman librarians performed “The Three Little Pigs” for toddlers and pre-kindergarteners April 29. The hand puppet show was preceded by interactive storytelling and singing.

The children were also able to enjoy a marionette puppet performance of “The Three Billy Goat Gruff.” Each billy goat paraded through the crowd of kids to give them chance to pet them.

Following the puppet shows, the children were treated to punch and cookies and taken to the back room where arts and craft stations were set up. Each child decorated their own little pig. Some had mustaches and hair, while others were bald with glasses.

A drawing was also conducted in which tickets for the play “Elmo Grows Up” were given away.

The library offers several children’s activities and programs throughout the month for children of all ages. For information, visit www.libraryvisit.org.
