A ShelterBox tent that was the result of fundraising by the Canfield Rotary, Canfield elementary school, Canfield Village Middle School and Canfield High School students, was on display April 25 at the Rotary pancake breakfast.

The groups raised money to purchase ShelterBoxes for victims of the Haiti earthquake. They collected a total of $26,300 and were able to buy 26 tents to send to Haiti.

The tents can fit 10 people and include items such as cooking utensils, tools, thermal sheets and equipment to purify water. The tents are weatherproof and can sustain winds up to 100 miles per hour.
